Vehicle Tax for Light Vehicles

Special rules for light vehicles

Quads, trikes, and similar four-wheeled light vehicles are taxed either like cars (with displacement and CO₂ components) or like motorcycles, depending on their registration and vehicle class (L or M category).

For light vehicles classified as motorcycles, rates range from €21.07 to €37.58 per 100 cc, tiered by emission class — notably higher than for regular motorcycles.
